To enhance security and privacy, all required biometric matching and smart card functionality is processed within the device using an embedded microprocessor platform. In additional, all information is stored and processed within the secure environment of the reader or the smart card.

Precise 200 MC uses the patented Precise Match-on-Card™ technology allows for the secure storing and matching of the fingerprint template to take place on the smart card. Security is optimized with 2-factor authentication requiring the user to present both their fingerprint and a valid smart card. Precise 200 MC is designed for Windows XP and 2000 environments, but integrates easily into other platforms thanks to CCID compliance and standardized USB interface.
