Security Workplace Asset Discovery
ASSET DISCOVERY

Rapid Four Step Process:
1. Project plan implementation to schedule on-site data gathering visit, arrange for required access to network, domain resources, system administration and support personnel.
2. Initial travel to client site(s) to perform initial Discovery data collection.
3. Analysis and reporting is performed at Security Workplace's Internal Technology Lab; reports are delivered appropriate or requested format.
4. On-site presentation of findings, opportunities, recommendations and reports to customer's Infrastructure and Operations management team.
Deliverables
After Discovery inventory has been performed at client site(s) to determine, inventory, warehouse distributed, open systems infrastructure configuration and utilization data, the following deliverables will be provided.
- Printed bound reports and Adobe Acrobat ( .pdf ) files
- Observations and Recommendations acknowledgment briefly identifying elements of distributed and open systems infrastructure that may benefit from enhancement and improvement in customer's infrastructure.
- Formatted reports:
– Operating System/Service Pack
– Host Summary
– Hosts by Operating System Install Date
– Logical Disk Summary
– Logical/Physical Disks
– Share Count Summary
– Tape Device Summary
– Applications/Packages Count
– Host Detail
– Host Services/Daemons
– IP Address
– Server consolodation analysis and recommendation
